We have been blessed with the chicken Pox!!!

My daughter came home from school yesterday covered in the chicken pox...now, I had them when I was in the 4th grade..a long time ago. This morning, she got up and has more on her face, legs, and on the bottom of her feet!!

Do any of you reading this, if there are any, know any little tricks to get these to go away faster? I would love to hear them if you do!

Don't know any tricks on how to better faster, but don't let her scratch them (I know it's hard), I have 2 scars on my forehead from doing that when I had them!

Here they give you a powder with methol to put on, to relief the itch...

I have two scars on my forehead from scratching them, too! So does my fiance. Two scars. I guess you're not somebody until you have twin pox scars on your head. lol.

Wretched things, chicken pox...I hope she feels better soon!

You just have to let it run it's course. Oatmeal baths help with itching.

But I will tell you the key to a scar free experience ... bribe her. I think my mom paid me like $20 or a toy I wanted or something if I didn't scratch. Obviously, I needed to figure out a way to get my $$/toy, but still itch ... I figured out that if i scratched very carefully around the bump and not the bump itself I was good. I got to do some level of scratching and still managed to get away scar free

I ground up oatmeal in the blender and tied it into a piece of panty hose. That way they got the benefits and I had an easy time cleaning the tub.
