Our first garden!

This year will be our first year planting a garden. I am enjoying watching the excitement in my kids! I didn't think that they would care at all about it, but to my surprise, they are just as excited as I am! Now, let's just pray that it all grows!!

  4. LOl...guess what Abby! Babygirl just planted (& has been taking care of) our first garden! The kinds grown in dirt! (I have an Aerograden, too.) We are growing cherry tomatoes, green peppers, orange peppers, mint, two different basils, chives, cilantro, oregano, parsley, and I think that's it.
Keep us posted on how your garden grows...hee-hee! I'll have to post some of babygirl's.

  5. I've noticed that people who like to bake also love to garden! Sounds like you fit that mold too? Have a wonderful time watching everything come up this summer, and caring for the plants with your kids. I wish my backyard was suitable for such a nice, big garden. Have lots of fun with it!

  10. NICE!!! I am starting my first real garden as well. I had a couple pots with a tomato plant and a couple herbs last year but this year I've got a real one. Good luck!

  11. Your garden spot is wonderful! I'm sure this will also give you some quality time with the kids and you know, we all need more of that. Have fun with it. You will love seeing the changes everyday and then enjoying the 'fruits' of your labor.
