Daring Baker, I am not...this month

I am so disappointed in myself this month....the November edition of the Daring Bakers, Tender Potato Bread. I have never tasted this, or have even attempted to make it before. So, I was really excited to try it. I will get to it, just not by today. Time just went by too fast. So, with that said go and check out all of the other wonderful Daring Bakers and check out their experience with the bread.

Oh, it's a pitty. If you find some time, you should give it a try.

I agree with Zorra, you should try it out if you get some time. This is such a crazy time of year, isn't it!! I just barely did mine on Friday, and only got it done because I had the day off....

Time sure has a way of getting away!

The great advantage in this is that you can get some great tips from the 300+ DB's when you're ready.

Well I know how it is with time- so I look forward to seeing this when you have some.

Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans :)

That's what happened to me last month and I had to miss out the bostini fun. I hope you can join us next month.

Life has a nasty way of getting in the middle of our play time hasn't it?!! I hope you will make it one day because it is truly a great bread!

Not to worry: the next challenge is just around the corner.

Do take on the bread at some point, though be prepared for the stickiness that ensues!

Absolutely worth the time, when you have it. And all the amazing posts today should give you a ton of ideas. Good luck for when you try it out!

Good luck on the challenge when you do get around to it. It's totally worth the effort AND the wait. lol

Aw well this means you can use a Kitchenaid with a dough hook to knead for you, so perhaps you got the good end of the deal. ;)

Sorry you didn't get a chance to make the bread yet. It was so nice of you to post about the challenge anyway! You'll have to let us know how yours turns out when you get around to it. =)

oh, I'm sorry that you weren't able to participate. Maybe next month.

Give it a try! I know I'm going to make it again, but in smaller quantity...

It's challenging and disappointing when real life gets in the way, but I agree with the others... try this recipe -- and share the experience -- when things smooth out in your world.

Do it in December--it's delicious! =D

No worries about not completing the 'challenge' but I second the others that it was easier to do that I originally thought and so worthwhile! If you do end up making it let me know. I would love to hear your reaction to this delicious new recipe =)

Sorry you could not join in this month, but you sure have been doing some baking, so that should count, too. Give it a try when you have time. It's a really flavorful dough and very versatile.

It does get rather stressful, doesn't it (this blogging business). I have two blogs and have been neglecting my other *sigh* because I'm in food heaven right now. We'll catch you in December!
